Fall is proving to be a busy time as I am deep into the writing my third novel. With the culmination of events for the fabulous One Book, One Community program, for which Smoke was chosen this year, the novel is reaching new readers every day. I am again teaching creative writing at the University of Toronto, through the School of Continuing Studies and I will continue on as 2008 faculty in The Humber School For Writers Correspondence Program.

Finally, I have a lengthy non-fiction piece dealing with the Canadian infertility industry set to be published in the next issue of Herizon's Magazine.
